The expansion pass has already done something I didn't think would be possible: it got me playing Fire Emblem Three Houses again.
It's campy and over-the-top but dammit it's FUN, and it feels great to step away from a game that put a smile on my face instead of shaking my head at the depravity of humanity.
Turns out that beneath Garreg Mach Monastery is a literally underground community of people who are trying to escape life on the surface, either because of criminal histories or being ostracized by society at large.
I found her to be one of the most relatable video game characters I have ever seen, and that feeling of a personal connection makes her story even more powerful when it comes to fruition.
The core premise of Luigi's Mansion is strong, but not enough is done to create variety in the gameplay.
