Change is on the Horizon

Hey there, adventurers!

As you have probably noticed, there wasn’t a Fanfic Friday today. There’s a couple of reasons for that.

The most selfish, procrastinate-y reason is that Fire Emblem Fates came out today, and I came home from work to find both Birthright and Conquest sitting ready on my doorstep. My wife and I have been playing it all afternoon and so far it is a blast! I’ll definitely be discussing it here on the blog in due time.

Now the other reason is that some changes are coming to the blog. Because I don’t know one hundred percent what those changes are going to be yet, I can’t explain them in detail. However, as soon as I get things figured out, I will be posting a big ole update with a full explanation of what’s going on and how it is going to affect the blog. Before the pessimists among us jump the gun, my health is not in jeopardy or anything like that. I’m just making some changes in my life, changes that will cause some priorities to be redistributed.

I’m going to be taking some time to figure things out – a few days tops – and then I will post the update as well as any drastic schedule or content changes that may come with it.

I’m sorry for those of you who might be disappointed by the lack of content for a few days, particularly for those who were waiting for the next part of The Outrealms to be posted. I want to say that things will be better when I get back, but part of this change may mean that Adventure Rules is going to slow down a bit. I know that such news can be disappointing to avid readers, but I’m hoping that the news that I will accompany it will help soften the blow.
